The purpose of this study is to verify the influence of adolescents' aggression upon smart-phone overdependence mediated by social withdrawal, and to grasp whether there is the protection effectiveness that adolescents' self-esteem can neutralize this within its influential relationship. For the research, the 7th Year Data for the Elementary School 4th Grade Panel(Year in 2016, 1st Grade of High School) was utilized out of ‘KCYPS(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey Data).' The subjects of this study were applied to the analysis targeting 1,628 research subjects excluding unfaithful answer or non-response among the whole 2,378 people. Examining the findings, first, adolescents' aggression was indicated to have a direct effect on smart-phone overdependence. Second, adolescents' aggression appeared to have an impact on smart-phone overdependence with having social withdrawal as a partial mediation. Third, adolescents' self-esteem was shown to be capable of regulating even a partial mediating effect in which the aggression has on smart-phone overdependence after passing through social withdrawal, as well as simply neutralizing a relationship between social withdrawal and smart-phone overdependence. According to these results, the adolescents' self-esteem was confirmed to have a protection effect on smart-phone overdependence. For this, a positive practical strategy is demanded for solving a problem of smart-phone overdependence through adolescents' self-esteem. There is necessity of a program in the dimension of preventing adolescents' self-esteem along with a steady interest in the risk group with smart-phone overdependence in adolescents.

본 연구는 청소년의 공격성이 사회적 위축을 매개로 하여 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향을 검증하고, 그 영향관계 안에서 청소년의 자아존중감이 이를 완충 할 수 있는 보호효과성이 있는지 파악하고자 한다. 연구를 위하여 ‘한국아동·청소 년패널조사(KCYPS)’중 초등학교 4학년 패널 7차년도 데이터(2016년, 고등학교 1 학년)를 활용하였다. 본 연구의 대상자는 전체 2,378명중 무응답을 제외한 1,628 명을 연구의 대상으로 분석에 활용하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 청소년의 공격성은 스마트폰 과의존에 직접적인 영 향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 공격성은 사회적 위축을 부분매개로 스마트폰 과의존에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년의 자존감은 단순 히 사회적 위축과 스마트폰 과의존 간의 관계를 완충할 뿐만 아니라 공격성이 사회적 위축을 거쳐 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 부분매개효과까지 조절할 수 있 는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과에 따라 청소년의 자아존중감은 스마트폰 과의존에 보호효과성이 있는 것으로 확인되었으며, 이를 위해서는 청소년의 자아존중감을 통해 스마트폰 의존문제를 해결하기 위한 적극적인 실천전략이 요구되며 청소년의 스마트폰 과 의존 위험군에 대한 꾸준한 관심과 스마트폰 과의존 예방차원의 프로그램이 필 요하다.
