This study uses semantic network analysis to examine research trends in enneagram keyword –focused Korean journal articles. The main research findings are as follows. First, with regard to keyword frequency, “enneagram” was the most frequently used, followed by “personality type,” “research,” “use,” “analysis,” “program,” “effectiveness,” and “development,” in that order. Second, with regard to the network centrality of the keywords, words such as “enneagram,” “personality type,” “research,” “use,” and “program” appeared in the upper ranks of degree centrality, betweenness centrality, and eigenvector centrality. This order is similar to that of high-frequency words among keywords extracted in related studies. A CONCOR analysis, performed to identify the characteristics of the semantic network, identified eight lower-level groups: 1) the “enneagram” keyword and “Korean enneagram”; 2) research on personality characteristics and differences; 3) research on important variables measured; 4) case studies; 5) character analysis; 6) “validation and relationship”; and two groups, 7) and 8), comprising enneagram dynamic psychology and centrality. Two cases were presented to examine the specific characteristics. With regard to the centers of intelligence (heart, head, and gut), much research has been conducted on the heart, and with regard to parents (mother and father), much research has been conducted on mothers. The findings indicate that case studies and qualitative research are needed on enneagram and on specific approaches to each type and the various classes. The study is significant in that it uses semantic network analysis, a big data approach, to identify research trends in Korea with a focus on the relationship between the main concepts covered in domestic studies and concepts related to enneagram.

본 연구는 에니어그램 키워드 중심 국내 학술지에 대한 연구동향 분석으로 의미연결망분석 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 주된 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 핵심단어의 빈도를 살펴본 결과 “에니어 그램”이 가장 높았고, 다음으로는 “성격유형”, “연구”, “활용”, “분석”, “프로그램”, “효과”, “개발” 순 으로 빈도가 높았다. 둘째, 핵심 키워드 네트워크 중심성을 살펴보았을 때 연결중심성, 매개중심성, 위 세중심성의 상위에 “에니어그램”, “성격유형”, “연구”, “활용”, “프로그램” 등의 단어가 나타났다. 이는 관련 연구에서 추출된 키워드 중 상위 빈도 단어의 순서와 비슷하다. 의미네트워크 특성을 파악하기 위해 CONCOR 분석을 실시한 결과 8가지 하위 집단으로 분류되었다. 1)‘에니어그램‘ 키워드와 함께 ‘한국형에니어그램’이 하나의 그룹으로 형성 되었고, 2) 성격 특성 및 차이에 대한 연구 3) 측정 주요 변수에 대한 연구 4) 사례연구 5) 캐릭터 분석, 6) ‘타당화 및 상관성’, 7) ‘에니어그램심리역동’, 8) ‘중심’ 등이 각각의 유사 그룹에 포함 되었다. 세부적인 특성을 살펴보기 위해 2가지 사례를 제시했는 데 힘의 중심(머리, 가슴, 장)에서 가슴중심이, 부모(어머니, 아버지)에서 어머니에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있었다. 이를 통해 에니어그램에 대한 다양한 사례 및 질적 연구가 필요하며, 각 유형별 세부접근과 다양한 계층에 대한 연구가 더 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 이 연구는 빅데이터 분석방 법의 하나인 의미연결망 분석((Semantic Network Analysis)을 사용하여 에니어그램 관련된 국내 연구에서 다룬 주요개념과 개념들의 관계에 초점을 두고 관련 국내의 연구동향을 밝혔다는데 의의가 있다.
