IoT devices attached to or embedded in objects that connect up to about 26 billion Internet connections in 2020 are classified into various types according to service environment and type. Recently, a variety of IoT device products and open device platforms have been launched, focusing on personalization services that are linked to smartphones. Platforms that can develop various sensor apps by virtualizing sensors in smart devices are being developed. In addition, several kilometers of communication to extend application to energy, environment, and industrial fields, battery life of more than 10 years, high-reliability control, IPV6-based network, and development of network technology to flexibly distribute concentrated data. In this paper, the trends and development directions of various IoT technologies are analyzed, and the utilization methods for future technology integration are studied..

2020년에 약 260억 개까지 인터넷에 연결되는 사물에 부착 또는 내장되는 IoT 디바이스는 서비스 환경과 유형 에 따라 매우 다양한 형태로 분류된다. 최근에는 스마트 폰과 연계되는 개인화 서비스를 중심으로 다양한 IoT 디바이스 제품과 개방형 디바이스 플랫폼이 출시되고 있으며 스마트 디바이스에서 센서를 가상화시켜 다양한 센서 앱 개발이 가 능한 플랫폼이 개발되고 있다. 또한 에너지, 환경, 산업 분야로 적용을 확대하기 위한 수km 통신, 10년 이상의 밧데리 수명, 고신뢰 제어, IPV6 기반의 네트워크 및 집중된 데이터를 유연하게 분산 처리하기 위한 네트워크 기술 개발 등이 활발하다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 IoT 기술에 대한 동향과 발전 방향을 분석하고 이를 통해 미래형 기술 집약에 필요한 활용 방안을 연구하였다.

Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
