Beautifully curved lines and geometric patterns, triangle and square a circle with a decorative features, elegant, using a Gustav Klimt, the representative works of Art Nouveau Painter. 아름다운 곡선과 기하학적 형태로 원과 삼각, 사각을 이용하여 화려하면서도 장식적 인 특징의 작품을 제작한 구스타프 클림트는 대표적인 아르누보 작가이다. 이러한 그 의 작품들은 의상디자인, 패키지 디자인 등의 다양한 디자인 영역에 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 구스타프 클림트의 인물화를 중심으로 한 작품 세계에 나타난 상징주의와 아르누보적인 패턴을 형태적, 색채적, 표현적 특징으로 분류하여 고찰하였다. 이러한 기준을 적용하여 2006년부터 2016년까지 파리패션쇼에 등장하는 디자이너의 아르누 보적인 헤어스타일을 분석하여 헤어 디자인 표현의 다양성을 연구하였다. 본 연구 결 과 구스타프 클림트의 작품에서 아르누보 양식의 형태적 특징은 삼각형과 원형, 타원 형으로 분류되었고 색채적 특징은 금색과 무채색으로 분류되었다. 연구의 결과 구스 타프 클림트 작품에서 삼각형과 원형의 형태, 색상은 검은색, 어두운갈색, 밝은갈색, 붉은갈색으로 분류되었고, 패션쇼에 나타난 아르누보 헤어스타일은 삼각형, 원형의 형태와 검은색, 붉은갈색, 어두운갈색, 갈색으로 분류되었다. 표현적인 특징은 회화 작품 속 헤어스타일의 풍성한 볼륨과 컬의 질감이 패션쇼 작품에 전반적으로 표현되 었다. 회화작품과 패션쇼에 나타난 작품은 아르누보의 화려한 색채, 다양한 형태적인 특징, 부드러운 곡선이 컬의 형태로 표현되었다.
