- Diaspora has the characteristic of keeping collective memories and myths about the homeland, devoting to the security and prosperity of the motherland, and focusing on solidarity to maintain the relationship with the homeland. The purpose of this study is to analyze the homeland relations of the Osaka Korean Diaspora in Japan. The main results of this study are as follows. First, The perception of the homeland was slightly more intimate than 60%. Nearly 70% of people visited the site more than once. Second, As a result of using the mother tongue, 18.4% think that the mother tongue level is good. Especially, the Osaka Korean Diaspora using native language in conversation with family members was 1.94%. Third, The interest of the Korean culture of Osaka Korean Diaspora showed 3.66. The traditional culture of the homeland has succeeded more in food than holiday and marriage. Fourth, The Osaka Korean Diaspora is often in contact with drama, movie, and K-pop of homeland. On the other hand, it was relatively low in direct exchanges such as participation in politics and elections in the homeland. Finally, The homeland should provide opportunities for mother tongue learning and cultural experiences to the Osaka Korean Diaspora.
