The purpose of this study is to find out what relations it has between the parents-children communication tpye , and the friend relation which is the character forming factor. Also to find out what influence it has. On the basis of the result of study, I present the important basic direction about the family function and the parents-children communication type, and I hope to use it as an elementary material for education of parents. From the result of the study, first, the greater the degree of openness of children’s parents, the more the friend relationship is good. Second, Children live in apartment complex, have more time to talk. than the children live in the commercial area. The more positive the talk with father, the more positive the talk with mother, and the feeling of happiness, the atmosphere of the children’s house. The poorer group is more positive than the richer group in friendship, and the children group in apartment complex is more positive than the children group in commercial area. I could know that parents-children communication and the variant of population and society influence the friend relation. Nowadays, It is absolutely need to communicate between parents-children when the seriousness of the school violence and group bullying appears at schools. Especially to the elementary school children, they are greatly influenced by the parents and the environment, We should present more active parent –education and the information in order to open-heated communication is possible. Also, communication with children’s father has a great influence, advertisement and education actively should be put into practiced for the fathers’s engagement of the raging the children.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생들의 부모-자녀 간 의사소통 유형이 외적 성격 형성 요인인 친구관계와 어떤 상관관계가 있으며, 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 연구 결과를 토대로, 가족 기능 및 부모-자녀 간 의사소통에 대하여 중요한 기본 방향을 제공하고, 부모 교육의 기초 자료로 활용하고자 하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 아버지나 어머니 모두 개방형 의사소통 유형의 개방성 정도가 클수록 친구관계가 좋았고, 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 아파트에 거주하는 집단이 상가지역에 거주하는 집단보다 더욱 어머니와 대 화를 많이 하였고, 아버지와 대화가 긍정적일수록 어머니와 대화, 행복감, 가정 분위 기도 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 다른 변수와는 달리 가난한 집단이 부유한 집단보다 친구관계에서 더욱 긍정적으 로 나타났으며, 아파트에 거주하는 집단이 상가지역에 거주하는 집단 보다 친구관계 에 더욱 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 인구 사회학적인 변인과 부모-자녀 간 의사소통에 따라 친구관계에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 요즘 학교 현장에서 학교폭력이나 왕따의 심각성이 대두되면서 부모-자녀 간 긍 정적인 의사소통의 필요성이 절실히 요구되는 현실이다. 특히 초등학생들에게는 부 모님과 환경의 영향을 많이 받는 시기이므로, 개방적인 의사소통이 이루어질 수 있 도록 적극적인 부모교육과 정보를 제공해야 한다. 또한 아버지와의 의사소통 유형 역시 지대한 영향을 미치고 있으므로 아버지들의 자녀 양육 동참에 대한 홍보 및 교육이 적극적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.
