This paper tests the effects of government subsidies on the volume and price of export. With the launching of WTO, government support are strongly forbidden. Therefore, any policy designed for export promotion must be examined for policy effects before it is implemented. The current research used the export function(author, 19) as a research model. We found that government export subsidy did not show powerful effects on export price and volume. This findings suggest that government policies are designed to improve firms` competitive advantage not by price factor but by non-price factors.
