- This paper examines the outsourcing strategy and productivity of global firms. Based on the analysis of eighty-seven cases, the following results were found. First, it was found that outsourcing strategy to mainstream and peripheral activities will be drawn. Second, based on the productivity of outsourcing strategy, productivity to internal and external capability will be drawn. Third, outsourcing strategy to mainstream activities have a positive influences on productivity of internal capability. outsourcing strategy to peripheral activities have a positive influences on productivity of external capability.
