The goal of this analytical study is to look for the optimum position of offset outrigger system in tall building. To accomplish this purpose, a structural schematic design of 80 stories building was executed by using MIDAS-Gen of general structure analysis program. In this research, the major factors of analytical study were the frame stiffness and the outrigger position in plan or height. In order to get the optimal location of offset outrigger system in high-rise building, we examined the lateral displacement in top level which is the very significant element in the structure design of tall building. The paper results showed that the frame stiffness and the outrigger position in plan or height had an effect on the optimal outrigger location. Furthermore, it is indicated that the results of research can be helpful in gaining the data of building structure design for searching the optimum position of offset outrigger system.

본 연구의 목표는 초고층 건물에서 오프셋 아웃리거의 최적위치를 파악하는 것이다. 이것을 위하여 아웃리거 구조가 설치된 80층 건물을 대상으로 일반구조해석 프로그램인 MIDAS-Gen을 사용하여 계획설계 수준의 구조설계를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요한 해석변수는 프레임의 강성, 아웃리거의 평면상 위치, 아웃리거의 설치 높이 등이다. 본 연구에서 오프셋 아웃리거의 최적위치를 조사하기 위하여 초고층건물의 구조설계에서 매우 중요한 요소인 최상층에서 발생하는 수평변위를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 프레임의 강성, 아웃리거의 평면상 또는 입면상의 위치는 아웃리거의 최적위치에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 본 연구결과는 오프셋 아웃리거 구조시스템의 최적위치를 탐색하기 위한 건축구조 설계데이터를 얻는데 유용하다고 사료된다.
