The streetcar was a representative characteristic of modern civilizations introduced in Korea, and was recognized as a symbol of rapid growth and speed of rapid growth in modern times. By the 1930s, these spatial and speed movements were used as the guides for the urban strolling. The Japanese colonial rule and the Korean War, and period of economic growth, streetcar was recognized in the memory of citizens as a means of transportation. In the present, as in the early 20th century, the efforts to restore humanity and daily life that are lost in big cities and the speed of modern civilization are being made through the reconstruction of historical streets and restoration of modern life sciences. At this time, the streetcar can be utilized as a memory reminiscent tool of the era in which past human-centered life was connected in reverse through the image of a giant machine created by a human being at a slow speed. In Busan, where the actual streetcar operation was conducted, it is deemed appropriate to use the streetcar as a medium to represent cultural exchanges, conflicts, and diffusion of cultural assets, such as the opening of the city, which is currently under construction.

전차는 근대 우리나라에 도입된 기계문명의 대표적 성격을 띠며 근대 빠른 도시 성장과 속도의 상징처럼 인식되었다. 그리고 1930년대에 이르러 이러한 공간 인지와 속도가 익숙해지면서 도시의 산책도구로 활용되었다. 또한 일제강점기와 한국전쟁, 그리고 도시성장기 핵심 교통수단으로 시민의 기억에 인식되었다. 한편 현재에도 20세기 초와 마찬가지로 현대 문명의 속도와 거대 도시에서 상실되어가는 인간성과 일상을 회복하기 위한 노력이 역사거리 조성 및 근현대 생활사 복원 등을 통해 이루어지고 있다. 이 때 전차는 느린 속도의 인간이 창조한 거대 기계 이미지를 통해 역으로 과거 인간 중심의 삶이 이어졌던 시대의 기억 연상도구로 활용이 가능하다.
