In this research, studies on the cooperation method of university - community society are made by using the major service circle. Continued activities of the major service circles have played a role in restoring the community, strengthening the capacity of residents, and reorganizing the council of residents. Hocheon village was reconstructed into a young generation in the forties in the villagers' community council for stable village volunteer activities of 13 major service circles of 12 departments. The young Resident Council is making efforts to dynamically change the village by introducing various programs to the site facilities for the community. Such efforts are attracting successive projects of urban regeneration one after another to create a state that the community capabilities of residents are further strengthened. In this research, you can see in the first case where the activities of the university's major service circle restored the city community. Meanwhile, for the purpose of smooth cooperation with community society activities of major service circle, Within the university it is necessary to have a specialized organization that can support financial support and movement of equipment for service circle activities and can support such a series of activities. In the municipality, it was found that it is necessary to construct governance of residents, administration, university (or private organization), constituting a special department supporting university - community cooperative relations.

본 연구는 전공봉사동아리를 활용하여 대학-지역사회 협력 방안에 관한 연구이다. 전공봉사동아리의 지속적인 활동은 주민공동체회복, 주민역량강화, 그리고 주민협의회를 재조직시키는 역할을 하였다. 호천마을은 12개 학과, 13개 전공봉사동아리의 2년간의 꾸준한 마을봉사활동으로 마을주민협의회가 40대 젊은 층으로 재구성되었고, 이들은 커뮤니티를 위한 거점시설에 다양한 프로그램을 도입하여 마을을 역동적으로 변화시키려는 노력을 하고 있으며, 이런 노력은 도시재생의 후속사업을 잇달아 유치하여 주민공동체 역량이 한층 강화되는 모습을 만들고 있다. 아직 진행중이긴 하지만 대학전공봉사동아리의 활동이 마을공동체를 회복시킨 사례이다. 한편, 전공봉사동아리의 활동이 지역사회와의 원활한 협력을 위해서는, 대학 내에서는 봉사동아리 활동에 대한 재정지원과 기자재의 이동허용 그리고 이런 일련의 활동을 지원할 수 있는 대학 내 전담조직의 구성이 필요하며, 지자체에서는 대학-지역사회 협력관계를 지원하는 전담부서를 구성하고 주민, 행정, 대학(민간조직)의 거버넌스 구축이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
