This study aims to evaluate the spa destinations by importance andperformance analysis. The survey conducted in visitor of Onyang spa destination, ChungCheong Nam-Do province. With the results based on the factor analysis: First, accordingto the results of the importance-performance analysis(IPA), with the twenty-threeattributes for the choice of the spa destinations, eight attributes is placed in the areaI(keep up the good work), six attributes in the area II(possible overkill), three attributesin the area III(concentrate here), and the other six attributes in the area IV(low priority). Second, according to the results of importance and performance analysis, with sixfactors drawn on the base of factor analyses, "spa space facility and tourism space" and"water quality of the spa and surrounding areas" is placed in the area I, "shoppingopportunities and hospitality" in the area II, “tourism space” in the area III,"accessibility“ and ”cost of spa" in the area IV. Finally, according to difference analysesof importance-performance, attributes for choice which shows relatively highersatisfaction level are “children's play facilities,” “efficacy waters,” and “bath amenities.”However, attributes for the choice which shows relatively higher dissatisfaction level are“crowdedness of tourism area,” “additional facilities fee”, and “transportation fare.”

본 연구에서는 충남 온양지역 온천관광지를 대상으로 중요도-성취도 분석에 의해 평가함에 목적이 있다. 온양온천 방문객을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 실증분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 온천관광지 선택속성대상의 중요도-성취도 분석 결과, IP좌표상의 Ⅰ영역(지속적 노력 필요)에는 8개 선택속성, Ⅱ영역(과잉노력 지양) 6개, Ⅲ영역(우선 시정이 필요) 3개 그리고 Ⅳ영역(저우선 순위]에는 6개의 속성들이 위치하고 있다. 둘째, 요인분석결과를 토대로 6개 요인에 대한 중요도-성취도 분석 결과, Ⅰ영역에 ’온천 공간 시설'요인 및 ‘온천수 및 주변지역’요인‘, Ⅱ영역에 '쇼핑 및 친절성'요인, Ⅲ영역에 ‘관광공간’요인 그리고 Ⅳ영역에는 '온천 접근성'요인 및 '온천 비용‘요인이 위치하고 있다.
