The purpose of this study is to derive the production support services needed for value - added in each production stage of the value chain system for automobile (including parts) enterprises located in Chungnam area. A case study analyzing the demand (need and importance) of production support service demanded for value added improvement in present and future (5 years later) according to the way of receiving production support service in manufacturing automobile (including parts) and value chain stage to be. Based on the value chain theory, the research model was constructed and this analysis framework was used to derive the demand and supply relation of the production support service of the automobile industry and the production support service field required in the future. In order to analyze the future demand of each production support service field, we conducted surveys and interviews with experts on production stage companies. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using the requirements analysis (Borich coefficient) and the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA).

본 연구는 충남지역에 입지한 자동차(부품포함)기업을 대상으로 가치사슬체계상 각 생산제조 단계에서 부가가치 향상을 위해 필요한 생산지원서비스분야를 도출하는 것이다. 자동차(부품포함)제조에 있어서 생산지원서비스를 공급받는 방식과 가치사슬 단계별로 현재와 미래(5년 후)에 부가가치 향상에 요구하는 생산지원서비스산업분야의 수요(요구도와 중요도)를 분석한 실증적 지역사례연구이다. 연구방법은 가치사슬 이론을 토대로 연구모형을 구축하고, 이 분석 틀을 통해 실증적 분석을 위한 자동차 산업의 생산지원서비스의 수요와 공급관계, 장래에 요구되는 생산지원서비스산업분야를 도출하였다. 각 가치사슬 단계별 생산지원서비스산업 분야의 미래의 수요를 분석하기 위하여 충남지역 자동차 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 설문결과를 바탕으로 생산지원서비스산업의 요구도 분석(Borich 계수)과 중요도 분석(IPA: Importance- Performance Analysis)을 통해 자동차산업의 생산지원서비스산업 육성을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.
