In this study, questionnaires were administered to university student players selected as the population, in order to examine effects of their university student players' achievement goal orientation on career maturity and career exploratory behavior. From a total of 193 questionnaires used in the final analysis, following findings are acquired. First, the correlations among their achievement goal orientations, career maturity and career exploratory behaviors were positive only for the task orientation, a sub-variable of achievement goal orientation. Second, the effects of their achievement goal orientations on the career maturity were examined, and then it was found that career determination, involvement, independence, attitudes and compromise have positive effects on the task orientation. Third, the effects of their achievement goal orientations on the career exploratory behaviors were investigated, and then it was found that job- and self-exploratory behaviors have positive effects on the task orientation.

이 연구에서는 대학 학생선수들의 성취목표성향이 진로의식성숙과 진로탐색행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위 하여 대학 학생선수를 모집단으로 선정하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 193부의 설문자료를 최종분석에 사용하여 다 음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 대학 학생선수들의 성취목표성향과 진로의식성숙 및 진로탐색행동의 상관관계는 성취 목표성향의 하위변인인 과제지향성에서만 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 학생선수들의 성취목표성향이 진로 의식성숙에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 진로결정성, 진로관여성, 진로독립성, 진로태도, 진로타협성은 과제지향성에 정 적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 대학 학생선수들의 성취목표성향이 진로탐색행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 직업탐색행동 과 자기탐색행동은 과제지향성에 정적 영향을 미쳤다.
