Though an integration of biblical exegesis, theology, and Christian education in teaching the Bible is crucial, such cases rarely occur in the educational context of the Korean Church. Such lack causes fragmentation between content and methods of teaching and also initiates a method-centered approach to teaching without attention to sound and deep understanding of the contents of the text. Another problem in teaching the Bible is the individualized and privatized understanding of Christian faith. Taking these issues into consideration, this paper attempts to propose an alternative approach that can integrate biblical exegesis, theology, and theory of Christian education as well as teach diakonia in terms of the Decalogue for volunteers serving in high-poverty neighborhoods. The Decalogue has been chosen as the theme of Bible teaching in an attempt to transform the privatized personal and ecclesial practices of the current Korean Christians and church, thus calling attention to the importance of diakonia as core practice of the church. Based on literature-based methodology, this paper first gives exegeses on the text of the Decalogue in the book of Exodus 20:1-21 in dialogue with biblical theology. Then this paper aims to relate the theological method and content of Bible teaching in terms of Minjung theology, especially focusing on its concept of “confluences of the two stories.” In addition, Thomas Groome’s “theory of shared-praxis” joins in the conversation with biblical theology and Minjung theology. This type of teaching that integrates theory and praxis is called “incarnational teaching,” which lies at the focus of this paper. Finally, an example of the teaching-learning plan and questions for group work are proposed for practical use.

오늘의 기독교교육은 근대적 의미의 응용신학을 넘어선 독립적인정체성을 지닌 종합 학문으로 이해되고 있으며 다양한 타 학문을 비롯하여 다른 신학 분야와의 다양한 대화를 시도하고 있지만 기독교교육 현장에서는 이러한 대화가 제대로 이루어지지 않는 경우가 많다. 그 가운데 하나가 바로 지역 교회 현장에서 이루어지는 성서 학습이다. 많은 경우 성서 학습은 일방적인 형태의 성서 내용의 전달에 만관심을 가지거나 혹은 반대로 흥미로운 학습 방법과 매체에만 초점을맞추면서 내용과 방법 사이의 불균형 혹은 파편화 현상을 보이고 있다. 한국교회 현장에서 이루어지는 성서 학습의 또 다른 문제점은 성서 내용에 대한 개인주의적이고 사사화된 이해이다. 이러한 것을 고려하면서 본 연구에서는 성서신학, 조직신학, 기독교교육학 이론 사이의 균형 있는 대화와 신앙과 실천의 사사화를 교정해 나가는 사회변혁적이고 공적인 차원을 지향하는 신학에 기초한 성육신적 성서 연구 모델을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 특히 교회 현장에서 지역사회를 위한 디아코니아 사역을 담당하는 그리스도인들을 양육하기 위한 성서학습 모델을 모색한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 문헌 연구방법에 기초하여 먼저 구약의 십계명(출 20:1-21)에 대한 성서신학과의 대화를 통한 주석을 시도하고, 민중신학의 신학방법론 중의 하나인 “두 이야기의 합류”를 통하여 디아코니아에 대한 기독교 전통과 한국의 고유한 전통 사이의 상호 만남을 시도한다. 그리고 토마스 그룸의 “공유적 실천” 방법에 기초하여 디아코니아에 대한 학습자들의 이야기와 성서 이야기 사이의 변증법적 대화를 시도한다. 마지막으로 이상의 내용이 균형적으로 반영된, 즉 삼자의 대화를 추구하는, 교수-학습안을 하나의 실례로써 제안한다.
