This study investigates the reliability of ten Feng-Shui indices and their quantification method suggested by Chang et al.(2014) by testing them on ninety Korean houses of three different types, namely traditional Korean houses, contemporary Korean style houses and contemporary Korean architects' houses. The result of this investigation confirms that of the previous case studies carried out with twelve houses, in which the first type of house shows the highest Feng-Shui index point as we guessed and then the second and third types in that order. The test result of Feng-Shui indices on the ninety houses convinces us the reliability of ten Feng-Shui indices and their quantification method, that can be effectively applied into the design of houses as a tool of environmentally friendly design.

본 연구는 Chang et al.(2014)에 의해 제시된 풍수 지표 및 정량화 방법론을 90채의 주택에 적용하여 분석한 결과를 보여주고 있다. 적용 사례 대상 주택은 30채씩의 한국전통주택, 현대전통주택, 현대작가주택군으로써 광범위한 사례에 풍수 지표를 적용하여 분석한 결과 예상할 수 있는 바와 같이 풍수계획 이론이 가장 널리 적용되었던 한국전통주택군에서 평균적으로 가장 높은 지표값을 보여주었으며, 그 다음은 전통주택 계획 기법이 적용된 현대전통주택이 차지하였다. 한국성 또는 전통성 개념이 언급되지 않은 현대작가주택군이 가장 낮은 풍수 지표값을 나타내었다.
