- This study made an attempt to analysis the building project of Rem Koolhaas based on the analysis of Deleuze by counter-effectuation of ‘logic of sense’. From generative point of view by Deleuze, any elements given to us as something fixed and indispensible are causal and arbitrary. The sense of the language is also the effect of the metaphysical surface. Deleuze also insists that paradox, humor, and inclusive disjunction are the counter-effectuation method that reveals the generative level. The interpreted results of the Rem Koolhaas building project using this analytical framework could be confirmed to interpret and understand the usefulness of modern architecture. It is confirmed that the consistent style of the building project of Rem Koolhaas-the raised box-shaped mass using cantilever structure method, the determination some space by anti-architectural flexible fabrics, intentionally tilted column and wall, the circulation flow connecting inside and outside, and the mutual openness of disparately programmed spaces-reveal and arbitrary prerequisite that the existing architectural principle is built on, and revealed that there is not any ground for that prerequisite.

- 본 연구는 들뢰즈가 ‘의미의 논리’에서 제기한 반효과화의 관점에서 렘 콜하스의 건축작품을 분석하였다. 들뢰즈의 생성의 관점에서 보면 우리에게 고정되고 필수적인 항으로 주어지는 것들은 우연적이며 임의적인 것이다. 또한 역설 및 익살/유머, 포괄적 선언과 같은 반효과화의 수법은 발생적인 차원을 드러낸다. 분석결과 렘 콜하스의 독특한 스타일인 캔틸레버 방식으로 부양된 박스형 매스나 반건축적인 유연한 직물을 사용하여 공간을 한정하는 수법, 의도적으로 기울인 기둥이나 벽면, 내외부를 연결하는 순환적 동선, 이질적 프로그램 공간의 상호 열림과 같은 수법은 기존의 건축원리가 전제로 삼고 있는 차원을 드러내고 그것의 근거가 없음을 드러내는 반효화화의 수법으로 충분한 가치가 있다고 판단된다.
