- Modernization is one of the major tasks when the East Asian countries facing “impact of the west” in the middle of the nineteenth Century. The Chinese Constitutional Reform and Modernization which was outburst in 1989 opened a prelude that have complete sense of the Chinese modernization. This paper attempts from the Chinese reformists’ activities and all aspects of the political、economic、cultural、ideological reform blueprint, explore the influence of the Chinese Constitutional Reform and Modernization on Chinese modernization. The Chinese Constitutional Reform and Modernization has opened the Chinese Modern Enlightenment and spiritual liberation gate, waiting for the launch of reform and innovation of political、economic、military、cultural and other comprehensive, was the first breakthrough in China two thousand years of feudal tradition immutable and the milepost to “Dao Qi Ju Bian”.

- 近代化是东亚国家在19世纪中叶的“西方冲击”下所面临的一个主要任务，1898年爆发的中国戊戌变法揭开了具有较完整意义上的中国近代化的序幕。本文试图从中国维新派的活动和他们提出的政治、经济、文化、思想意识等各方面的改革蓝图入手，探讨戊戌变法对中国近代化进程的影响。戊戌变法开启了中国近代思想启蒙与精神解放的闸门，酝酿发动了政治、经济、军事、文化等全面的改革创新，是对中国两千年封建之道不可变的传统观念的第一次突破，是走向“道器俱变”的界碑。
