As the population in Korea is feastly aging, various issues for living environment for elderly people are reported. Context-aware-based smart home system is also considered as one of the issues and the needs of it increases. Even though many researches are recently reported about context-aware-based smart home system, it is hardly found for elderly-people-optimized system. Therefore, in this paper, we surveys in three categories: general context-aware system, system for smart home, and context-aware home system for elderly people. After analyzing the surveys, we address issues to be solved for elderly-people-optimized context-aware-based smart home system and proposed appropriate research directions for the system.

한국의 고령화가 급속하게 진행됨에 따라 고령자를 위한 주거환경에 있어 다양한 이슈들이 도출되고 있으며 이 중 상황인지 스마트 홈 시스템에 대한 관심과 필요성이 증가하고 있으며 관련 연구 및 상품들이 제시되고 있다. 그 러나 아직까지 고령자에 맞추어진 현실적인 시스템은 찾아보기 힘든 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 일반적인 상 황인지 시스템, 스마트 홈을 위한 상황 인지 시스템, 그리고 고령자를 위한 상황인지 홈 시스템 등의 3가지 분야로 현 연구결과들에 대하여 조사 분석하고 이를 기반으로 고령자 친화적 상황인지 시스템 구축을 위한 현재의 부족한 부분들 과 앞으로의 연구 및 개발 방향을 제시 하였다.
