Recently, studies have been conducted on wearable devices that use diverse User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) technologies. These studies have been conducted in various fields such as fitness, entertainment, medicine, manufacturing, and military. On the battlefield, information exchange plays a vital role in defeating the enemy, or establishing a dominant position during operations. This study proposes a gesture-based wearable device that enhances effective information exchange on the battlefield. This includes a gesture-based wearable device system that provides security functions according to a specific battlefield environment. The proposed model is divided into two modes: the Secure Mode, which is for battlefield situations and the Training Mode, which is for training situations. It provides a secured data transmission by sorting data accordingly. This model proposes to facilitate effective operation performance by offering wearable devices that can overcome the limitations of hand signals.
