The realistic approaches solving for the reunification problems should have been explored based upon the people in North and South Korea. The logistic system has been one of the important factors for solving these kinds of current problems in Korea. This study examines logistics hub based on the engineering and social factors such as distance, time, cost, population, industrial development, etc., for expanding global market strategies form Korea to Europe. The logistics location and facilities, especially railroad industry in the North Korea has been explored in order to develop the Silk Road Express via Northeast areas. In this research, the coordinates of the each appropriate location have been given in terms of distance. However, the weights of each coordinates have been given by the various social factors. The assignment problem and transportation problem are also applied in the results from the Webber's multiple location problem, which the algorithm has been coded C languages. This results will be another base solving for the North Korean not only logistics systems but also the life style in the near future.

최근 대한민국 정부가 추진하고자 하는 통일에 대한 논의는 활발한 반면, 실질적인 접근방법에 대해서 과연 현실적인가를 고려해야 한다. 통일의 주체는 국민이며, 남북한 주민의 눈높이에 맞추어야 한다. 물류전략은 그 중에 가장 현실가능하고 중요하며, 한국방위산업의 물류거점 확보라는 의미에서 본 연구와 그 관련성이 매우 높다. 최근 북.중.러간의 물류기반산업이 활발한 것은 의식주 중에 무엇보다 먹고 사는 문제에 대해 먼저 해결하고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 통일을 대비하고 통일 후에 발생될 물류대란을 준비하기 위한 연구배경을 갖는다. 물동량 뿐 아니라 다양한 사회적인 물류요소를 가중화된 입력데이터로 구성하고 남북한 각 25개 물류거점을 중심으로 공학적 분석을 하고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 유라시아까지의 물류거점이 결정된다. 이는 철도궤도의 상이함에 따라 통일물류전략의 밑바탕이 될 것으로 보며, 더불어 사회문화적인 차이를 극복하는 계기가 될 것임을 제안하였다.
