This paper consists of 5 Parts, In Part Ⅰ, I put forward the research goals, methods and coverage about why I need to study and the range of my study. So f ar, much has been studied about other areas such as drug addiction, alcohol addiction gambling addiction and media addiction, but few have studied sex offenders' sex addiction. So I took up and studied the topic. Part Ⅱ deals with sex offenders, definition of sex addiction, types of sex addiction, characteristics of sex addiction, stage of sex addiction, stages leading to sex addiction and consequences of sex addiction as theoretical framework. Sexual addiction, also known as sex addiction or sexual dependence, is compulsive participation or engagement in sexual activity, despite negative consequences. I have classified sex addiction into murder sex addiction and non-murder sex addiction, heterosexual sex addiction, homosexual sex addiction and bisexual sex addiction, intentional sex addiction and spontaneous sex addiction, indiscriminate sex addiction and discriminate sex addiction, sexual intercourse addiction, addiction to similar sexual acts and other sex addiction not specified in, and sexual perversion that is paraphilia. In part Ⅳ, the paper deals with cases of famous sex addiction and Part Ⅳ, I pointed the various causes of sex addiction and proposed my plans for criminal sanctions, behavioral therapy, psychological therapy and education and training for sex addicts. Finally, in Part Ⅴ, concluded that sex addicts-offenders should be under treatment instead of criminal punishment.

본 연구는 5파트로 구성되어 있다. 제1파트에서는 왜 이 연구가 필요한지와 어디까 지 어떻게 연구할 것인지에 대해서 연구목적과 연구방법 및 연구범위를 제시하였다. 지금까지 약물중독, 알코올중독, 도박중독, 미디어중독과 같은 다른 종류의 중독에 대 한 연구는 많이 있었으나 성범죄자들의 성중독에 대한 연구는 눈에 띄지 않기에 이 논문에서는 성범죄자의 성중독을 중심으로 연구･고찰하고자 하였다. 제2파트에서는 이론적 배경으로서 성범죄자, 성중독의 정의, 성중독의 종류, 성중독의 특징, 성중독의 단계와 성중독에 이르는 7단계 과정 및 성중독의 영향에 대해서 다루었다. 성중독은 부정적 결과에도 불구하고 성적활동에 참여 또는 관여하지 않고는 정상적인 생활이 힘든 것이라고 정의하고 성중독의 종류로서 ⑴살인성중독과 무살인성중독, ⑵이성성 중독과 동성성중독 및 양성성중독, ⑶의사에 의한 성중독과 자동적 성중독, ⑷무차별 성중독과 차별성중독, ⑸성교중독과 유사성행위중독 및 기타 성행위중독, ⑹성도착 성 중독 : 행위성중독과 대상성중독으로 분류하였다. 제3파트에서는 주요 성범죄자들의 성중독 사례를 언급하였고 제4파트에서는 성중독의 여러 가지 원인과 성중독범죄에 대한 형사법적, 행동치료, 심리치료, 교육훈련에 대한 대책을 나름대로 제시하였다. 마 지막으로 제5파트에서는 앞서 서술한 내용에 대한 결론으로서 마무리하였다.
