The following study examines the relationship between soldiers’ awareness of organizational justice in the military and the adaptation to military life; the subjects of this study were army soldiers. The objective of this study is to investigate whether the awareness regarding organizational justice of the constituent members of a military organization – in which military service is compulsory – has similar effects on the overall life within the respective organization as seen in other private, public, and military officers’ organizations where the members are professional soldiers. In order to support this study, a total of 189 soldiers of the army forces in Gyeonggi-do were surveyed in regards to their awareness of distributive justice, procedural impartiality, interactional service justice, and the adaptation to military life within the particular military organization. Analyses results showed that the awareness of distributive justice, procedural impartiality, and interactional service justice had positive effects on the general adaptation to military life. Such results strongly imply that for the adaptation of soldiers to an unfamiliar environment like the army, not only is a psychological approach in terms of each individual soldier required, but also an organizational approach is direly needed. Based on the result soft his study, a list of constraints related to the study and a proposal for a follow-up study were completed.

본 연구는 육군 병사들을 대상으로 병사들의 군 조직 공정성에 대한 인식과 군 생활 적응간의 관계를 살펴 본 것이다. 연구의 목적은 군 복무가 의무화 되어 있는 군대 조직에서도 민간 조직이나 공공조직, 그리고 군인을 직업으로 삼고 있는 군 간부 조직과 마찬가지로 구성원의 조직 공정성에 대한 인식이 조직 생활에 영향을 미치는지를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 경기도에 위치한 육군부대의 병사들 189명을 대상으로 군 내에서 인식하고 있는 분배공정성, 절차공정성, 상호작용공정성과 군 생활 적응도를 측정하였고, 분석 결과 분배공정성과 절차공정성, 상호작용공정성이 군 생활 적응에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 군대라는 낯선 환경에서의 적응을 위해서는 병사 개인의 심리적 차원에서의 접근뿐만 아니라, 조직적 차원에서의 접근도 필요하다는 것을 시사해 주고 있다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 연구에 대한 제한점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.
