Social space could be understood as a relational ordering of social goods and living beings that is generated by the synthesis and placing od these elements according to Martina Löw. Spaces through the interaction of people and can be designed very differently for this. In this respect Löw expects that at a particular place are created different spaces, depending on which meanings that changes people's places. The question is how children and young people use these different spaces and how it can be very different spatial qualities arise. The concept of social space of youth could be defined as follows : Appropriation and use of public space, the concept of socio-spatial appropriation, space of youth participation and possibility to sustainable urban regeneration. In the research field "Young people in the city district" of BMVBS research-program "Experimental Housing and Urban Development (ExWoSt) in Germany, 56 pilot projects and two youth fund since 2009, various facets and aspects of the participation of young people were tested in shaping their environment. It should be checked that which possibility of urban space offer to youth, which topics and methods young people can be involved in planning processes and the extent to which scale they can independently acquire space.
