The multipoint conference in ubiquitous environment is expected to be one of the fundamental applications for various services, and hierarchical conference can be used well in this environment. The hierarchical conference causes the data delay because the exchanged data between terminals in the conference go through the hierarchical structure. In this paper, we propose an algorithm which non-incrementally constructs a hierarchical conference with the average path distance between terminals. Experimental results show that the hierarchical conference with the proposed non-incremental scheme can support better conference organization than the existing incremental scheme based on average path distance between terminals, and also than the existing nonincremental scheme which uses the shortest distance terminal.

유비쿼터스 환경에서 다자간 회의는 다양한 서비스를 위한 기본 응용 기술 중의 하나로 예상되며, 계층 구조의 다자 간 회의는 이 환경에서 유용하게 이용될 수 있다. 계층 회의에서 단말기 간 교환되는 정보는 이웃 단말기들을 통하 여 전달되기 때문에 정보 지연이 발생될 가능성이 높다. 본 논문에서, 단말기 사이의 평균 경로 거리를 고려하여 비 점진적 계층 회의를 구성하는 새로운 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 방법을 이용하여 모의실험 한 결과 제안 방법 이 평균 경로 거리를 이용한 점진적 계층회의 방법 및 최단 거리를 이용한 비점진적 계층회의 방법보다 계층 회의를 효율적으로 구성할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.
