The purpose of this study about Gamdutang (oriental herb,s) affect to treat obesity. Experimental groups were treated with the case of taking Gamdutang and not taking it by oral administration for 28 days, and were applied a method of aromatherapy massage with the mix of grapefruit, cypress and juniper berry oil. Obesity treatment was performed 2 times a week for 4 weeks for 30 females at the age of 30s, which was compared on the basis of the state of body size changes before getting treatment and after getting it for 8 times. In the obesity treatment by aromatherapy massage case of not taking the Gamdutang, it showed that the size was decreased at the part of upper arms, thigh, calf and waist. And there were statistically significant differences at the part of calf and waist. In the obesity treatment case of taking the Gamdutang, it showed that the size was decreased at all the items as same as not taking the Gamdutang and there was significant differences statistically at the part of waist and thigh. These results are summarized as follows: In obesity treatment, aromatherapy massage after oral administration of Gamdutang (GA) showed more the significant decrease at the part of upper arms, calf and waist than aromatherapy massage without oral administration of Gamdutang (NGA).
