This study aims to examine the empirical psychological support method for the performance enhancement of athlete and the clearer results than the psychological support effect. The study participant is 21 year old female archer and she is the team leader with 8-year player career. The archery performance problem which is appealed by the study participants was ‘the mistake in the decisive circumstances’, so the case conceptualization evaluation form, sport-related psychological questionnaire, shooting archery performanc e․analysis, counseling and interview were used in order to grasp the psychological and behavioral problem which raises mistake in the decisive circumstances and the post-psychological support effect. The psychological skills training programs(Goal setting, routine, images, attention) were composed for the continuous performance connection to minimize the distracting thoughts, and it was conducted total 12 sessions for 8 weeks. First, Athletes’ Self-Management Questionnaire(body care, interpersonal management, training management, mental management), Test of Performance Strategies(Soliloquy, condition control, tension release, emotions control), Psychological Skill Questionnaire in Sport(Confidence, goal setting, team harmony, images, willpower, anxiety control) skills were improved. But it showed the low concentration sub-factors of psychological skills. Second, shooting analysis on the archery performance, there was ±15 sec interval between the existing performances, and the time interval between the performances became shorter with ±1 and became constant after the psychological skills training. The study participant grasped her performance problem correctly in the counseling and interview, and she examined her psychological․ behavioral change difference, so it showed high satisfaction about the psychological support effect. The leader of archery showed high satisfaction about the post-active participation of training of the study participant more than pre-active participation of training.
