Franchise industry know-how and an excellent management company organically integrated knowledge management resources industry. The franchise industry in the country's economic growth continues to contribute a large bar , has had an impact on the company's growth . The franchise industry franchise industry in Japan than in other industries , and long-term steady growth rate despite the recent recession and recovery illustrates a trend . Thus, the structure of the franchise industry in Japan by analyzing the company's franchise industry in Korea for overseas expansion strategies are evaluated . In this study, a plateau in Japan to get bigger and provide a starting point for the 2009 and 2010 Census of Japan Association of Chain and Franchise all over the franchise system through a comparative analysis of Japanese overseas franchise business structure and strategies, and identify the research Korea based on the company's overseas expansion strategy is aimed at . For this purpose, literature review and statistical analysis of the number of chain stores industry results , sales trends over the following four results are derived. 1) services with emphasis laid plans enable one franchise 2) the flow of services to the aging franchise , nursing , health-oriented , early childhood education , beauty and related business expected to grow 3) Recognition of Japanese culture and understanding of the importance of the service sector to account for differences in 4) services business of the need for efforts to increase productivity are summarized . Based on the results of this study, Korea Franchise companies in the industry, Japan 's overseas expansion strategy franchise industry awareness of cultural differences in the institutional environment and the strategy should be considered.

프랜차이즈 산업은 우수한 경영 노하우와 기업의 경영자원을 유기적으로 통합하는 지식 산업이다. 또한 프랜차이즈 산업은 국가의 경제성장에 지속적으로 기여하는 바가 크고, 기 업의 성장에도 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 프랜차이즈 산업 부문에서 일본 프랜차이즈 산 업은 여타 산업에 비해 꾸준한 성장률을 보이고 있으며 장기간 경기 침체에도 불구하고 최 근 회복세를 보이는 경향을 나타내고 있다. 따라서 일본 프랜차이즈 산업의 구조분석을 통 하여 한국 기업의 프랜차이즈 산업의 해외진출에 대한 전략을 알아보고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 일본의 정체기를 벗어나는데 시발점을 제시한 2009년부터 2010년 의 일본 프랜차이즈 체인협회 통계 조사와 각국 프랜차이즈 시스템의 비교 분석을 통하여 일본 프랜차이즈 사업구조와 해외진출 전략을 파악하고, 그 연구 결과를 토대로 하여 한국 기업의 해외 진출 전략을 수립하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 문헌고찰과 통계분석 결과 업종별 체인수와 점포수, 매출액의 추 이를 통해 다음과 같은 4가지 결과를 도출 하였다. 1)서비스를 중점으로 한 프랜차이즈 활 성화 방안 마련 2)서비스 프랜차이즈의 흐름으로 고령화, 간병, 건강지향, 유아교육, 미용과 관련된 사업 성장 기대 3)일본의 문화와 인식의 차이를 고려한 서비스 업종 파악의 중요성 4)서비스 사업의 생산성을 높이는 노력에 대한 필요성으로 정리하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 한국기업은 프랜차이즈 산업의 해외진출 전략 수립에 있어서 일본 프랜차이즈 산업의 제도적 환경과 문화 인식의 차이를 고려하여 전략을 수립해야 한다.
