- The purpose of the study is to investigate art-educational perspective on the visual image through various technologies indicated as the modern visual culture. In other words, the study not only attempts to understand the relation between 'culture and 'medium' from a technical perspective but a psychological perspective in order to explorer its value in terms of aesthetic. Investigating how to understand experiences of various visual cultures in the changing atmosphere which the time has brought to us for the art education in which subjective response and understanding are respected through direct experience of learner for both teaching-learning. For the purpose, the study analyzed actual teaching-learning perspective and its application based on the meaning of relationship between visual culture education and aesthetic experience. The art education should be able to aestheticalize our living space based on learners' internal understanding. Therefore, various researches on visual culture education are required.

- 본 연구의 목적은 동시대 시각문화로 대변되고 있는 다양한 테크놀로지를 통한 시각 이미지의 미술 교육적 관점을 정리하고자 하는 데에 있다. 즉 '문화'와 '매체'의 관계를 단순히 기술적 측면으로 이해하는 것으로 그치는 것이 아니라 정신적 측면으로 확장시켜 미적체험을 위한 미적 대상으로서의 가치로 탐색하고자 하는 것이다. 학습자의 직접 체험을 통한 주관적 반응과 이해를 존중하는 미술교육에 있어 변화하는 시대적 기류 안에서 만나게 되는 다양한 시각문화의 경험을 어떻게 이해하고 교수-학습의 내용을 전개해 나가야 하는가에 대한 문제는 매우 중요하다. 이를 위해 시각문화교육과 미적체험의 관계를 교육과정 안에서 이해하고 그 관계 의미를 바탕으로 실제적 교수-학습의 관점과 적용 방안을 모색해 보았다. 미술교육은 학습자 자신의 내면적 이해를 바탕으로 우리의 생활공간을 심미화 할 수 있어야 한다. 이러한 측면에서 시각문화 교육에 대한 다양한 연구가 필요할 것이다.
