The Korea National University of Education has been researching to set up a theoritical criteria for the development of classroom-friendly teachers since 2008. And then, the concept of classroom-friendly teachers was defined in 2009 and also practice for each subject was researched. In this article, the connection method of the development of classroom-friendly technology teachers and the employment examination of teachers was studied. To do that, research of related literature, interviews with experts in the field of technology teacher education, and discussion of forum were conducted. A concept of the classroom-friendly technology teachers was defined as 'technology teacher who have the professional ability and is able to perform it at technology laboratory and classroom of school for desirable education activity. In order to develop the classroom-friendly technology teachers, curriculum of the department of technology education at KNUE was reorganized, and a new subject of 'technology essay' was created to correspond the essay test of employment examination of teachers. Especially, the structure and many of the subject name of curriculum in the department of technology education were reorganized to adapt the fundamental completion subjects of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. On analysis the employment examination of technology teachers of 2009, I concluded that improvement was needed in the future to the mismatch between subject of college curriculum and a range of question of employment examination.

2008년부터 한국교원대에서는 교실친화적 교사 양성에 대한 이론적 준거를 연구해 왔으며, 2009년에는 교실친화적 교사의 개념을 정립하고 각 교과별로 실제에 대하여 연구하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 교실친화적 ‘기술’ 교사의 양성과 교원 임용 시험의 연계성을 분석한 것이며, 이를 위하여 문헌 연구와 전문가 협의회 및 포럼 논의의 방법으로 진행하였다. ‘교실친화적 기술 교사’의 개념은 ‘학교의 기술실 및 교실에서 바람직한 교육활동을 수행할 수 있도록 전문적 능력을 지니고 이를 실행하는 기술 교사’로 정의하였다. 교실친화적 기술 교사를 양성하기 위하여 한국교원대 기술교육과에서는 교육과정을 개편하였으며, 임용시험에서의 논술형 문제에 대비하기 위하여 ‘기술 논술’ 과목도 신설하였다. 그리고 교육과학기술부의 교원 양성을 위한 기본이수과목에 대응하기 위하여 기술교육과 교육과정을 개편하였다. 2009학년도 기술 교사 임용시험 문제를 분석한 결과, 대학의 교육과정 과목과 임용 시험의 출제 비율 및 출제 범위가 일치되지 못하는 부분은 추후 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
