- There are top three causes of fire in Seoul 2012, electrical problem, cigarette butt, food cooking fire. This paper verified fire causes through the reproduced experiments of food cooking fires. Food cooking fire does not spread to surroundings without combustibles or keep the pot covered. This fire spreads through dishcloth, towel, kitchen sheet paper etc., around the gas range. Also this fire spreads upside ceiling, kitchen furniture, decorative curtain by convection and radiation heat. In case of laundry, fire breaks out according to ventilation condition. When the gas range has problems, Fire investigator suspects the gas leakage. As a result, even though food cooking fire, fire cause is decided after due consideration of the condition around gas range, kind of food, combustion patten and so on.
