There have been many attempts to measure anaerobic capacity, fatigue degree and after exercise recuperation by position of soccer players and numerous methods of research and measurements have been proposed. Results of such researches have been used in the fields by coaches as excellent references in teaching players. The purpose of this study was to provide data in a more scientific and systematic way by measuring anaerobic capacities and blood lactate concentrations of soccer players by position. To attain the purpose, Wingate tests were conducted for 21 soccer players to measure their anaerobic capacities as well as fluctuation of blood lactates. One-way ANOVA was used to compare average difference of anaerobic capacity and blood lactate by position, and Two-way repeated ANOVA was applied to compare blood lactate concentrations with measurement period. The following results were obtained from the tests. First, It appeared that there was no significant difference between positions as there were to no statistically significant differences in peak power and peak power/kg of a variable, anaerobic capacity, according to positions of soccer players. Second, It appeared that there was no significant differences in average power and average power/kg of a variable, anaerobic capacity, according to positions of soccer players. Third, It appeared that after anaerobic exercise there were no statistically after exercise and after 30 minute recuperation according to positions of soccer player. However, after 5 minute recuperation, the blood lactate level of mid-fielder(MF) was lower than defender(DF) and striker(FW), so it appeared that the mid-fielder(MF) has more endurance to fatigue than the defender(DF) and striker(FW).
