The purpose of this study is to investigate the opinion differences between citizens and professionals in perceiving urban landscape. To this end, the perceptions of two groups about urban landscape of Gimhae were surveyed. To examine the statistical significance, the frequency analysis, the chi-square test and Fisher’s exact test were applied. There were differences of opinion between two groups about the present condition and improvement of the urban landscape. Therefore, in planning urban landscape we should reflect not only the opinions of professionals but also those of citizens, and we should control and negotiate the differences of opinion between them. The results of this study are intended to be used as a reference to the planning urban landscape.

본 연구는 김해시 도시경관에 대하여 시민과 전문가 2개 집단 사이에 인식 차이가 있는지를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 시민과 전문가를 대상으로 김해시 도시경관에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위하여 빈도분석(Frequency Analysis), 카이제곱 검정(Chi-Square test), 피셔의 정확한 검정(Fisher′s Exact test)을 실시하였다. 연구결과 도시경관의 현황과 관리방향에 대한 인식차이가 있음이 확인 되었다. 그러므로 도시경관계획이나 경관사업을 진행함에 있어서 소수 전문가나 공무원만이 주도하기보다는 시민들의 참여와 의견을 반영할 수 있는 다양한 방법이 필요하며, 이 경우 나타나는 인식 차이는 조정과 합의를 통하여 진행하여야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 향후 다른 상업가로 활성화 계획 수립 시 참고자료로 활용 될 수 있기를 기대한다.
