- This purpose of this study is to identify how the expressions of tradition can be reinterpreted into modern architectures expecially through large scale government office buildings by analyzing existing design examples. Comparing to expression of tradition by metaphorical interpretation that is considered as a creative and subjective area, eidetic expression of tradition, limitations are bound to follow to interpretate the traditional architecture principle into modern space through bringing concept of reinterpretation and reinvention. Several cases of large scale governmental Buildings are analyzed in terms of the expression of architectural eidetic elements and architectural content elements.
