This Research has the purpose of the studying of the younger generation’s political consciousness and taking further look of its acceptance form in the midst of the political changes in Korean society in recent years. In particular,this research is targeted at the college students of physical education Division who have a conservative and passive image of political consciousness and study their types of its acceptance form. This research sets 2 points that first, what type of acceptance form of the physical education department students’ political consciousness? Second, what are the heterogeneous and homogeneous characteristics of each type? And it applies Q method to solve these questions. After 30 physical education majoring students in I university in I city had 25 Q statements,following results came out. After structured the type of acceptance form of political consciousness of students majoring physical education and analyzed the characteristics of each type, the results are classified in the three types and show 59% of description capacity. The first type is the active improvement needs-type, the second is the positive confidence support-type and the third type is the active disbelief-type.

이 연구는 최근 한국사회의 정치변화 속에서 젊은 세대의 주관적 정치의식을 살펴보 고 나아가 어떠한 수용형태를 보이는지 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 특히, 그동안 정치적 현실에 대해 보수적, 소극적으로 이미지화되었던 체육계열 대학생을 대상으로 이들 의 정치의식을 살펴보고 그 유형을 파악하고자 하였다. 이 연구의 연구문제는 첫째, 체육계열 대학생의 정치의식은 어떠한 유형으로 나타나는가? 둘째, 각 유형들간의 동 질적, 이질적인 특성은 무엇인가? 이다. 이러한 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 Q 방법 론을 적용하였으며, 30명의 대상자에게 25문항의 진술문을 제시하여 다음과 같은 결 과를 도출하였다. 이렇게 체육계열 대학생의 정치의식 유형을 구조화하고,유형별 특 성을 분석한 결과, 총 3가지 유형으로 분류되었으며 59%의 높은 설명력을 나타냈다. 제 1유형은 적극적 개선요구형, 제 2유형은 긍정적 신뢰지지형, 제 3유형은 적극적 불 신형으로서 각 유형마다 독특한 특징이 있는 것으로 파악되었다.
