In this study, it is attempted to provide some assistance, in various aspects, to clients of interviews according to a comparison between the enneagram inherited during thousands of years in history and the Sajumyeongrihak derived from the I-Ching (Book of Changes) which is one of the oriental esoteric philosophies. People differ from each other and they have, therefore, quite diversified behavior patterns. However, discrimination rather than distinction is prevailing among us simply because we are different from each other, while we are experiencing conflicts of personal relationships due to each other’s misunderstanding and problems in communication. As we are trying to resolve such conflicts rather easily or even to avoid experiencing any of such conflicts, each one of us is trying to build human relationships by carrying out various studies on understanding other people and also by learning various subjects in diversified aspects. Relationship is very important in human life. However, we often think little of such a relationship because of too many things that have to be carried out during our lives. Through making a lot of learning, we have come to know about theories on various personality types and have applied them to real situations. As a result of the study, on the premise that both the personality theories are common in that everyone is born with its own personality, it was possible to discover similarities of clients by analyzing the personality theories of both the disciplines, and a fundamental background for making interviews with clients has been presented so that the interviews may be carried out in multilateral aspects of both the disciplines.

사람들은 각기 다르고 그렇기 때문에 다양한 행동양식을 갖고 있다. 그러나 우리는 다르다는 이유로 구별이 아닌 차별이 이루어지고, 서로를 오해하고 의사소통의 문제 등으로 대인관계의 갈 등을 겪고 있다. 이러한 갈등을 우리는 쉽게 해소하고자 또는 갈등 자체를 겪지 않으려고 하기 때 문에, 각기 다른 사람들을 이해하고자 여러 종류의 공부를 하고 여러 방면으로 학습을 하면서 인 간관계를 맺어 가고 있다. 인생에서 관계는 매우 중요하다. 그러나 우리의 삶은 해야 할 일들이 너무 많기 때문에 이러한 관계를 경시하게 된다. 많은 학습을 통하여 여러 가지 성격 유형을 분석 하는 이론들을 배우고 적용하며 응용하여 왔다. 본 연구에서는 수천 년의 역사를 가지고 있는 고대의 신비한 학문인 에니어그램과 동양의 신 비 철학 중 하나인 주역(周易) 생겨난 사주명리학을 비교 설명하고자 한다. 두 성격이론의 공통점 은 성격이 타고난 다는 것인데 현장에서 상담을 하다보면 서로 아무런 교류도 이루어지지 않았지 만 서로간의 유사한 점을 많이 발견할 수 있고 사주를 상담 하러 온 사람들에게 에니어그램의 성 격 유형검사를 실시하여본 결과 유사한 점을 발견할 수 있었고, 내담자에게 사주와는 다른 상담을 할 수 있었기에 이 연구를 하였다.
