The purpose of this paper is to study the optimum location of the outrigger system in high-rise building after a schematic design of 80 stories building was executed, using the structural analysis program MIDAS-Gen. In this research, the primary variables of structural analysis were the outrigger position, stiffness of outrigger, stiffness of column, stiffness of shear wall etc. To find the optimum location of outrigger system in tall building, we compared and analysed the lateral displacement of top level which are the main structure factors in the structural design of high-rise building. The results of this study showed that the methods of modelling the structural members of outrigger system, stiffness of outrigger, stiffness of column and stiffness of shear wall etc. had influence on the optimum location of outrigger system. Also it is considered that the results of this analysis research presented in this study can be helpful in obtaining structural design data for finding the reasonable outrigger system in high-rise building.

본 연구는 구조해석 프로그램 MIDAS-Gen을 사용하여 80층 규모 건물의 계획설계를 실시한 후에 초고층건물의 아웃리거 구조시스템의 최적위치에 대하여 연구하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이 연구에서 구조해석의 주요한 변수는 아웃리거의 위치, 아웃리거의 강성, 기둥의 강성, 전단벽의 강성 등이다. 초고층건물의 아웃리거 구조시스템의 최적위치를 찾기 위하여 본 연구에서는 초고층건물의 구조설계에서 주요한 구조요소가 되는 최상층의 수평변위를 비교분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 아웃리거 구조시스템의 구조요소를 모델링하는 방법, 아웃리거의 강성, 기둥의 강성, 전단벽 등의 강성은 아웃리거 구조시스템의 최적위치에 영향을 준다는 것이 확인되었다. 또한 본 연구에서 제시된 해석연구의 결과는 초고층건물의 합리적인 아웃리거 구조시스템을 탐색하는 데에 필요한 구조설계 자료를 확보하는데 도움이 될 수 있다고 생각된다.
