The MPEG-UD aims to achieve interoperability among different applications and services in the context. All user information, related to user’s interaction with a multimedia content or service, can be represented in the MPEG-UD format and may be safely and securely managed by the users, e.g. by separating between public and private data or different levels of private data. Some data is static in nature (e.g., user’s identity data) while other data is dynamic (e.g., user’s preferences or location). Currently, there are clear borders between static and dynamic data whereby some of them may be managed by government of state or other authorized institutions. In the future, users will be able to manage their own MPEG-UD like a certificate of authentication and provide only a selected subset of their own information to service providers. As a result, users may take advantage of MPEG-UD, e.g., in terms of more personalized services. To show the advantages of MPEG-UD in the real world, we gathered twenty-two possible use case scenarios. In this paper, we introduced the second half of defined use cases for MPEG-UD.
