The demolition industry in Korea was started from the early of 1990s and the market of demolition industry has been increased rapidly about one trillion wons in 2000 year. According as the market is increased, professional engineers in the field of demolition industry are demand increasingly. In this study, we analyzed the necessity and validity of the national technical qualification testing system for the demolition construction in Korea to make its market activated, and we predicted the future market of demolition industry by investigating the current market status of demolition industry in Korea, and we analyzed the results of the investigation of the current status of concerned companies and workers for demolition construction in Korea. It was also analyzed the concerned safety-accidents and the demand of national technical qualification testing system for demolition construction in Korea, and we have derived the introduction of 'the demolition technology qualification system in Korea' by utilizing the investigation of demolition technology qualification system in Japan, a developed country in this field.

국내 해체산업은 1990년대 초반에 형성되기 시작하여 2000년 해체시장의 규모는 약 1조원까지 급증하였다. 그로인한 해체시장이 대형화됨에 따라 해체전문 기술인력의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 해체공사의 활성화를 위해 국가기술자격제도의 필요성 및 타당성에 대하여 검토하였다. 그리고 국내 해체산업 시장의 현황조사를 통하여 향후 해체시장을 예측하였으며, 전국 해체공사 관련 업체 및 종사자의 수의 현황을 조사‧분석하였다. 또한 해체공사 분야의 안전사고 및 국가기술자격제도의 수요현황을 조사‧분석하였으며, 해체공사의 선진국인 일본의 해체공사 시공기사 자격제도를 조사하여 국내 실정에 맞는 구조물해체기사 자격제도의 도입방안을 마련하였다.
