This paper is the research for investigating the architectural characteristics which the attached buildings has through the Main Buliding comparison around the attached buildings of Bulhoisa Temple in Naju. The meanwhile, the investigation into the attached buildings or research is the very incomplete actual condition and it was unable to come into the spotlight in comparison with the Main Buliding or this is regarded as the negligent reason. The fragment of the result Daeungjeon of comparing the attached buildings with Daeungjeon or decoration which was splendid and delicate was not shown up. However, the result of looking at (three ikgong) shown up in common in detail, The whole member and style followed the splendid Dapo type but reduced the scale in the trimming timber procedure of the detail member with the control of the dimension. In the relationship with the dapo style of Daeungjeon, this is determined as the intentional technique to control the hierarchy. In addition, as to the eaves organization, it is with the common feature that organization of the front and back is different. This can understand as the concept like the reduction of the Gongpo part. Relative the front, it can look at as the purpose intensifying the eaves function about the back in which the location environment is not good and it can look at as the intentional technique.

본 논문은 불회사 부속건물을 중심으로 주불전과의 비교를 통해 부속건물이 갖는 건축적 특징을 규명하기 위한 연구이다. 그동안 부속건물에 대한 조사나 연구는 매우 미비한 실정이며 이는 중심건물에 비해 주목받지 못했거나 소홀했던 이유로 생각된다. 부속건물을 대웅전과 비교해본 결과 대웅전의 화려하고 정교한 조각이나 장식은 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 공통적으로 나타나는 삼익공에 대하여 자세히 살펴본 결과, 전체적인 부재와 양식은 화려한 다포양식을 따랐으나 세부적인 부재의 치목에서는 치수의 조절로 규모를 축소화 했다고 볼 수 있다. 이는 중심건물의 다포계 양식과의 관계에서 위계를 조절하려는 의도적인 기법으로 판단된다. 또한 처마구성에 있어서 공통된 특징으로는 정면과 배면의 구성이 상이한 점이다. 이는 공포대의 축소와 같은 개념으로 이해할 수 있다. 정면에 비해 상대적으로 입지환경이 좋지 않은 배면에 대한 처마기능을 강화하는 목적으로 볼 수 있으며 의도적인 기법으로 볼 수 있다.
