The purpose of this research thesis is to give psychological skills training to seven undergraduate shooters, for 16 weeks, and to test the effects of the training, and furthermore to find out whether they try to receive the psychological skills training without cease after the training is terminated. To meet the research objective, the research thesis developed programs on single group design and program development procedures. And this thesis lived up to requests from the research subjects based on in-depth interview and open-ended data, in order to develop programs sufficient for the characteristics that shooting has. Also, this thesis measured the phase: pre-shooting, in the middle of shooting and post-shooting, and after-eight weeks of the training program, in a bid to test the effects of psychological skills training. As for the effects of psychological skills training, self-management competence, performance strategy, and changing math record were tested. The analytic research outcomes show that among self-management factors, physical and training management made the statistical difference in each period. Performance strategy was improved as a whole, but there was not the significant difference. The results show that shooting skills were improved. According to the questionnaire test and interview conducted additionally after eight weeks when the program ended, it shows that shooters went on doing the varied psychological skills training through adaptation experiences that shooters performed for themselves. Based on the analytic research results, it is deemed that developing and applying programs designed to build trust relationship and meet requests from shooters, based on shooting experiences that the researcher has, have had been helpful to shooters, without cease.
