- Hippotherapy is one area of the physical therapy. Duriug hippotherapy the patient does nothing to actively influence the movement of the horse; on the contrary, the patient is moved by the horse and responds to the horse's movement. the physiotherapist directs a specially trained horse handler to very the horse's movement as required, through changes in cadence, stride length, and direction. Hippotherapy is already recognized as rehabilitation in Europe and USA. In Korea, interest has gradually but the racetrack is not for people with disabilities, horseback riding is an expensive sport to be recognized. The aim of this study was for an introduction to hippotherapy and the development of the education program for disabled, and research is needed about hippotherapy
