This research study was conducted to determine the cut-off value of the participants who stated the truth through ROC curve by using the data of the polygraph examination conducted by the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency to investigate sexual violence cases. The study also attempted to determine whether or not the participant's subjective personality, success or failure in the STIM test, and the degree of perspiration had effects on the distribution of examination values. This was examined through comparison with the previous research results. The cut-off value computed through ROC curve (which can maximize the accurate identification of the true victim of sexual violence) was found to be 0.5 points. When the 0.5 points were used as the cutoff value, the sensitivity (82.4%) and singularity (70.0%) were the highest and were also statistically significant. The results of comparing the subjective personality, the success or failure in the STIM test, the degree of perspiration in previous researches showed that the success or failure in the STIM test, and the degree of perspiration did not have effects on the distribution of examination values, which were the same as the results of previous research. However, the subjective personality, unlike the results of previous researches, was found to have no effects on the distribution of examination values, and this was found to be the factor that was considered when the results of examination of the sexual violence victims were evaluated.

본 연구는 성폭력 사건 조사를 위하여 충북지방경찰청에서 이루어진 거짓말탐지 검사 자료를 이용하여 진실을 말하는 피검사자의 판정기준 점수를 ROC Curve를 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 또한 피검사자의 주관적 성격, STIM 테스트 성공 여부와 발한 정도가 검사 점수 분포에 영향을 미치는지를 이전 연구 결과와 비교해 보았다. ROC Curve를 통해 진실한 성폭력 피검사자의 정확성을 최대화할 수 있는 판정기준 점수를 산출한 결과 0.5점으로 나타났다. 0.5점을 판정기준 점수로 사용했을 경우 민감도(82.4%)와 특이도(70.0%)가 가장 높았고 이는 통계적으로도 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 주관적 성격, STIM테스트 성공 여부와 발한 정도를 이전 연구 결과와 비교하였을 때 STIM 테스트 성공 여부와 발한 정도는 검사 점수 분포에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 이전 연구 결과와 동일하였다. 그러나, 주관적성격의 경우 이전 연구와는 달리 검사 점수 분포에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타나 성폭력 피해자의 검사를 판단을 할 때 고려해야 할 요인으로 나타났다.
