The purpose of this study is to clarify the difference of forged seal fabricated based on the original seal by studying the characteristics of seal fabricated using a computer seal carving device. In general, there is a common idea that the seal fabricated repeatedly using a computer seal carving device is the same, but in this study, we want to clarify that there is a difference displayed between several seals fabricated using the same computer seal carving device in the same condition and that there is also a difference between the original seal fabricated manually and the forged seal fabricated with the seal image using the laser seal carving device and the needle seal carving device.

본 연구의 목적은 컴퓨터 인장조각기를 사용하여 제작된 인장의 특성을 연구함으로서 원본도장을 바탕으로 제작된 위조도장의 차이점을 밝혀내는데 있다. 통상적으로 컴퓨터 인장조각기를 사용하여 반복 제작된 인장은 동일하다는 통념이 있었으나 동일한 조건에서 동일한 컴퓨터 인장조각기를 사용하 제작된 수 개의 인장간에도 차이점이 현출되며 수작업으로 제작된 원본도장과 그 인영을 레이저 인장조각기와 바늘 인장조각기를 사용하여 제작한 위조인장에서도 차이점이 있음을 밝히고자 한다.
