The research was done to find out the process of school adaption of University student athlete by closely analyzing the reasons of dropping out in halfway. The data analysis was based on open coding and axial coding and selective coding from the grounded theory of Strauss & Corbin(1998). First, from the research paradigm model of collected data, the hub phenomenon was ‘the stressfulness of studies and future worries’. Second, the hub phenomenon of the dropped out athlete’s stressfulness of studies and future worries came from the cause and effect results of quitting the athlete career. Third, their difficult relationship with professors and academic failure showed from interconnected situation. Also, the intercessional conditions that promote the mutual action regarding the hub phenomenon were the seniors‘ advice as the bridge and professors’ counseling as guidance. Mutual strategies are defined as showing some effort in their studies, setting their future goals and their positive minds as well. Those factors shall play an important roles for them to proceed. As time passed, participants gradually fitted well into their lives as others and set their future goals to fulfill their purpose.
