Korean’s major firms made a slogan Smart Work as an important business strategy and tried to implement some activities. These Smart trends influenced the way people’s working and organization. Based on the actual practices of Korean’s major firms, we extract the smart-work supporting tools and practices, exploratory and exploitative activities as the important factors influencing the smart work performances. The statistical result, based upon survey responses, shows that exploratory and exploitative activities are the salient factors for smarkwork level, and that three types of he smart-work supporting tools and practices indirectly influence smarkwork level through exploratory and exploitative activities. As a conclusion, the academic and practical implications of these findings are also discussed.

국내 기업들은 무한경쟁 환경에서 지속 가능성을 확보하고자 스마트워크를 실현하기 위한 다양한 노력을 시도하고 있다. 이런 스마트워크 추세는 조직구성원의 일하는 방식과 조직구조에 상당한 영향을 미치게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 기업들이 현재 사용하고 있는 스마트워크 관련 도구와 관행에 관한 사례를 통해, 스마트워크 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 스마트워크 지원도구, 조직구성원의 탐험과 활용전략 등을 도입하고, 설문조사를 통해 모형의 타당성을 실증적으로 평가해보고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 3가지 유형으로 분류한 스마트워크 지원도구는 조직구성원의 탐험과 활용전략에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 탐험과 활용은 스마트워크 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그 외 본 연구결과의 학술적, 정책적 시사점도 함께 제시하였다.
