The purpose of the study is how the soccer players perceive their coaches’power basis, total 225 surveys on korea national league soccer players were conducted and the results are as follows. First, it shows that the national soccer players recognize the power bases of their coaches in the following order: expert power, legitimate power, reference power, coercive power, and reward power. The expert power was the most recognized and the reward power was least recognized. Secondly, the power bases of a soccer coach towards the position for players showed little awareness and the statistics show insignificant differences in perception towards the power bases. Thirdly, statistics show that the power bases of soccer coach on the selection of the key player have significant differences only on the coach’s reference power. Lastly, the power bases of a soccer coach on team performance showed little awareness and the statistics show insignificant differences in perception towards the power bases.
