This study intends to examine the effects of Korean culture familiarity for Japanese tourist on Korean foods consumption attitude, perceived behavior control, and behavior intention based upon theory of planned behavior. Empirical study with 221 questionnaires for Japanese tourists was conducted frequency test, reliability and validity test, and structural equation model with SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 5.0. Result shows Korean culture familiarity influences significantly to attitudes, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, and behavior intention. TPB also shows the suitable model to explain the relationship between Korean culture familiarity and Korean foods consumption behavior intention. Suggestions are provided for Korean culture familiarity improvement and globalization of Korean foods.

본 연구는 계획행동이론을 이용하여 일본관광객의 한국문화에 대한 친숙도와 한식소비 태도, 주관적 규범 및 지각된 행동통제, 그리고 한식소비 행동의도 간의 관계를 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 실증분석을 위하여 부산을 방문하는 일본관광객을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 총 300부를 배포하여 221부가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 빈도분석과 신뢰성과 타당성 분석을 실시하였으며, 가설 검증을 위하여 AMOS 5.0을 이용하여 공분산 구조방정식모형 분석을 하였다. 분석결과 계획행동이론은 일본관광객의 한국문화 친숙도와 한식소비 행동의도를 과정중심적으로 측정하고 분석하는데 적합한 모형으로 검증 되었으며, 태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행동통제 및 한식소비 행동의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 한국문화 친숙도 증진 및 한식 세계화 방안에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.
