This study presents a consideration about a community which had mutual aid. So we choose especially volunteer from a large number of people for building it and present factors related to welfare sense. We investigate volunteers who belong to volunteer liaison council. We analyze the reason for participating volunteer as a dependent variable and volunteer’s attribute and sense of community as independent variables. The results show tending to high ratio for volunteers over the age of 60 who are interested in welfare and who has attachment to community and who are altruistic. So it is important that welfare institution like a council of social welfare relate to the above-mentioned volunteers and so they are conscious of community-based welfare promotion.

本稿では、地域社会に多数存在する担い手の中でボランティアに注目し、その福祉意識の規定因子との関連性を分析し、ボランティアへのアプローチの考察を行い住民の支え合いのある地域社会の形成実現への一試論を示すことを目的とする。A市ボランティア連絡協議会に登録しているボランティアを対象にした実態調査をもとに、ボランティアの参加理由｢福祉に関心があった｣を従属変数、ボランティアの属性、地域意識などを独立変数として分析を行った。｢福祉に関心があった｣とする者は、60歳以上、地域への愛着が高く利他的である人の割合が高い傾向にあった。このような者に、地区社会福祉協議会といった福祉の専門機関が関わり、地域福祉推進という視点を持って新たな行動に繋げることが住民の支え合いのある地域社会形成に向けて必要であると考える。
