- This paper first investigates into the English teaching methods in Korea for the past 100 years or so that may or may not have produced what could be referred to as a codified set of Korean English. These codified set of Korean English that are used by Korean students are investigated into based on a personal experience of teaching English in Korea. The possible origins and linguistic reasons of the codified set of English are suggested along with few action research strategies as how to facilitate better production of English for further future research.
